الممثل البريطاني بين بارنز Ben Barnes معروف بأدواره المتنوعة في السينما والتلفزيون. اكتسب شهرة عالمية من خلال أدواره المميزة، وأبرزها: شخصية الأمير كاسبيان في سلسلة “سجلات نارنيا” (Chronicles of Narnia)، وشخصية بيلي روسو في مسلسل “المعاقب” (The Punisher)، وشخصية الجنرال كريجان أو ألكسندر في مسلسل “ظل وعظم” (Shadow and Bone)، وقد ساهمت هذه الأعمال في ترسيخ مكانته كممثل موهوب يتمتع بحضور قوي وكاريزما لافتة.
لكن موهبته لم تتوقف عند حدود التمثيل؛ فهو أيضًا مغنٍ وكاتب أغانٍ وعازف لعدة آلات موسيقية مثل البيانو، والدرامز، والجيتار. ظل حلم الغناء يرافقه أكثر من اثنين وعشرين عامًا، حتى قرر أخيرًا أن يضعه حيّز التنفيذ، فأصدر ألبومه الأول where the light gets in في الثامن من يناير هذا العام بعد أن أصدر أول ألبوم مصغر له في عام ٢٠٢١ متكون من خمس أغاني، وهو يستعد لإصدار نسخة فاخرة من ألبومه أكتوبر المقبل.
أين تجد الضوء… ألبوم بعد سنوات من الانتظار
في 8 يناير 2025، طرح بارنز ألبومه الأول بعنوان “أين تجد الضوء” “Where the Light Gets In”. الألبوم يمزج بين موسيقى البوب والطابع الكلاسيكي الحديث، ويتناول موضوعات الحب والفراق والقلق والحنين، إضافة إلى السعي وراء الأحلام والتجارب الإنسانية التي يقدمها بارنز بروح صادقة نابعة من تجاربه الشخصية مهما كانت صعبة أو غير ناجحة، فهو يفخر بها ويرى أنها جعلته ما هو عليه الان.فد
فكتب بارنز بنفسه عددًا من الأغاني في هذا الألبوم، وصرّح أنه يتمنى أن يجد المستمعون في كلماته انعكاسًا لتجاربهم ومشاعرهم، وأن تمنحهم موسيقاه الأمل وإحساسًا بأنهم “كافون كما هم”.

ما هذه التجارب إلا بداية لرحلة ملهمة تلامس قلوب الآلاف حول العالم، فتمنحهم الأمل لمواجهة صعوبات الحياة أو السعي وراء أحلامهم. وفي هذا السياق، يستعد بارنز لإصدار نسخة موسعة (Deluxe Edition) من ألبومه في 24 أكتوبر 2025، تتضمن أغانٍ إضافية، ونسخًا حيّة من بعض الأغاني، ولقطات من خلف الكواليس، إلى جانب كتيب يضم كلمات الأغاني بخط يده. وقد بدأ الحجز المسبق لها بالفعل عبر موقعه الرسمي وحساباته على منصات التواصل.
إلى جانب ذلك، يُعرض له حاليًا مسلسل The Institute المأخوذ عن رواية لستيفن كينغ، عبر شبكة MGM+ وAmazon Prime. يجسد فيه شخصية تيم جاميسون، الضابط السابق الذي يحاول الهروب من ماضيه ليبدأ حياة جديدة كحارس ليلي في قرية صغيرة، قبل أن يكتشف وجود معهد يستغل قدرات الأطفال الخاصة. وقد أُعلن رسميًا عن عودة المسلسل بموسم ثانٍ.
ما وراء الشهرة

In the show, Barnes plays Tim Jamieson, a former police officer seeking to escape his past and start anew in a small town as a night watchman—only to discover the dark secrets of a facility that exploits children with special abilities. A second season has already been confirmed.
