Two people have died and a child is injured after a car and a cattle truck collided.
The crash happened on the Gwydir Highway at Glen Innes in regional New South Wales at about 11.15am on Thursday.
Police found three people trapped inside the car.
The driver and passenger died at the scene, while a young child was pulled alive from the wreckage and taken to hospital.
The driver of the truck was treated for minor injuries.
Several cows on board the cattle truck died, and some had to be put down because of their injuries.
