It’s all about one horse at Randwick with the Punters Inside Run panel landing on the same runner as their best bet on Saturday.
Waihaha Falls heads to the Listed Razor Sharp third-up for the campaign, rattling home for fourth first-up from a wide gate before finishing runner-up to Coal Crusher at Newcastle.
The John O’Shea gelding drops 7kg from his most recent run and Sydney form analyst Nick Hluchaniuk believes the light weight and a return to Randwick will help Waihaha Falls perform at his best.
“Third-up now, I think this is his race.”
“He’s got a nice turn of foot and with the drop in weight that will allow us to see that (turn of foot).
Expert Mick Sharkie is in agreeance.
“Those track and distance stats are so important, particularly at this venue with the rail in this (true) position.
Waihaha Falls has won twice from four starts over the six furlongs at Randwick, with those victories coming back-to-back during the winter by margins of 3.15L and 4.68L.
Punters Inside Run host Matt Campbell made it a clean sweep of the panel, also siding with Waihaha Falls as his best.
The lightly-raced son of Sacred Falls is the narrow favourite for the Razor Sharp at $3.40 (Betr) with Brigantine at $3.60.
Topweight Eleven Eleven, who will lug 61kg, is on the third line of betting at $10.
